I met Pierre whilst serving as a Clerk RAMC in Aldershot. As a Cpl I found this gentle intelligent Sgt a pleasure to serve with. In 1982 I was with Pierre on the tank deck of the RFA Sir Galahad waiting to disembark. A lot of things were a blur after the bombs exploded.
Thank God for people such as Pierre.
